I am a retired Primary School Teacher who has City and Guilds certificates in Patchwork and Creative Embroidery. I always had a project on the go growing up. Now I mainly work in textiles, particularly hand embroidery, which I find especially calming. Other interests include bookmaking and printing, especially collographs. My work tends to be representational and associated with nature. Just lately I have been experimenting with 3D structures, where I concentrate on the surface design.
